Fitness Programs:

Here in the United States, roughly 39% of the population is overweight and struggles to work or find help on improving the body health. Now adults at the age of 18 or older are roughly around 24% of the population that meet the physical health guidelines for both aerobic and muscular strength activities. Advocacy in Physical Education can help benefit everyone with physical strength and health. With the sources that we recommend, "Gopher Sports," it guides people in the right direction on how to properly start working on improving both your physical and mental health.  Another source, "Student Life Center, Cortland," shows ways on how to improve a persons physique, while taking the right steps when working out with heavy weights.

Sports Coaching:

Coaching in physical education and the sports that it has to offer is about building a strong, healthy, and fun environment for your players/students. When coaching a sports team, a big objective is to lead your team to victory, but the biggest objective when coaching is to inspire, motivate, and teach your players both skill and respect.  Building a relationship with your players is very important, if you are able to get your players to trust you, you can show them the proper route that can benefit them for both physical activities/sports and adult hood after school. On the home page, under Sports Coaching, there is a link to a website called, "Health Coach Institute," this site helps guide future coaches into the right directions, by showing the future coaches what to expect and how to treat your players/students. Another site, "PHE America," gives advocacy by explaaining why SHAPE is important and how it can benefit you when learning about coaching, while explaining how to best go about certain scenarios, for example, injuries, parents, player behavior, and more.

Health Assessments:

When it comes to a person's physical health, it is important to help guide them into the right direction. When trying to work on bettering yourself, there are many way to go about it, with changing your diet, being more active than usual, and focusing/planning a route on how to get it done.  On the home page, under Health Assessments, it offers a few websites that can also guide you into learning what the best route to take is.  One of the website's is "The YMCA," this site offers you locations of gymnasium near you, while showing you all of the different possibilities they have to offer to help benefit a person's physical health.  It explains their facility and how everything they have to offer can improve a person physical and mental heath.  The YMCA also offers camps, lessons, and leagues to help everyone, at any age, to stay physically activity and mentally strong.
